The IV Punta Mita Beach Festival was celebrated on July 7-10, 2016 at a recognized resort in Punta Mita. This event showcases the culture and diversity of Punta Mita—the Riviera Nayarit’s Glamour Peninsula—. It’s an adventure weekend that offers unique experiences arranged by experts.

“The Punta Mita Beach Festival has quickly turned into one of the Riviera Nayarit’s anchor events,” said Marc Murphy, Managing Director of the Riviera Nayarit Convention and Visitors Bureau. “It’s a compilation of the very best of our Destination.”

The Punta Mita Beach Festival had the presence of recognized guests such as Ana Paula, founder and director of the Instituto Mexicano de Yoga, whom is a certified Kundalini Yoga instructor and one of the most active representative of this discipline. The Professional surfer, Ramón Navarro, is native from Chile and one of the few who can boast a perfect score in his sport—according to the experts, he’s also ridden one of the best barrels of all times.

Ryan Helm, surfer and professional paddler from the US; Javier Álvarez, another professional paddler and surfer, is a high caliber Mexican athlete who will share his experience with the attendants.

For their kitchen talent, three extraordinary Chefs were invited for the event and awared in Punta Mita: Manuel Peruyero, recently named Executive Chef at The St. Regis Punta Mita Resort; Erick Ramos, currently Head Chef at the same hotel’s Sea Breeze Restaurant; and Chef Alexandre Branch, who has a long career in international cuisine.

Year-round, you can find amazing events in the beautiful destinations of Riviera Nayarit, including Nuevo Vallarta and it’s Regatta, fishing Tournaments at La Cruz de Huanacaxtle, local festivities in Guayabitos, The Children’s Circus in San Pancho, among many other beautiful attractions.
